Britney Spears Essay -- Biography

Present day society has made a sub-culture that lives in a reality that isn't genuine. It is so distant from reality that the occupants of this sub-culture so frequently can't live in the two real factors and have become a display for others to wonder about. This sub-culture is comprised of performers, moguls, and competitors. The individuals in this gathering can run from infants to death and some live on well after. The examples that I discover an enthusiasm for are the youthful ones that go into this general public not knowing admirably that their lives will never be the equivalent. Britney Spears was simply one more casualty of the general public that brings into their jail. Britney Spears was conceived on December 2, 1981. She lived in Kentwood, Louisiana and was continually acting before individuals and consistently needed to be on 'Star Search'. Britney went for the New Mickey Mouse Club at age 8 and afterward again at 11 and made it. At that point she went solo since her ability was obvious and she needed increasingly (An and E Television Networks, 2011). Britney was exceptionally fruitful from 1998 to 2000. During these years, things were changing for her. Britney was enlightening individuals concerning her â€Å"remaining a virgin until marriage† yet she was presenting in pictures that persuaded individuals to suspect something. Her collections despite everything kept on selling in the United States just as in Europe. She set out on numerous fruitful streets through 2003 (Wikipedia, 2011). Her open at last considered her to be a lady not a young lady. In 2002, Britney and her sweetheart Justin Timberlake separated. The next year during the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, Britney and previous individual Mouseketeer Christina Alguilera kissed Madonna erotically (A&E Television Networks, 2011). Madonna has been a significant impact in Britney's life. Since the time she was a... ...ality issue isn't outrageous as it could be from the data that could be found. Along these lines, there might be trust that she could live without medicine and just treatment. This would be resolved as she advances. Having a steady emotionally supportive network may empower Britney to return into the singing again however I would suggest that she just does this for little squares of time. Such a significant number of youngsters go into the diversion business. The greater part of them don't realize that without an emotionally supportive network to keep them grounded and stable their psychological advancement can be undermined. The general public that we place so high in our way of life and consider deserving of such high recognition, eat our kids alive. They become excessively quick, need to shield themselves continually, and are viewed nonstop. As a general public, we should investigate what we are never helping to individuals in media outlets.

John Steinback’s ‘Of Mice and Men’ Essay

John Steinbacks ‘Of Mice and Men’ is a story of two voyaging laborers in the cruel sorrow long stretches of 1930s America. Steinback utilizes a ‘Cyclical Structure’ after completing the book I saw numerous similitudes between the first and last section. The main comparability was the area. In Chapter One Steinback makes reference to an abandoned spot close to a non-streaming pool, and afterward presents both Lennie and George, the equivalent occurs in the last part however this time Lennie is distant from everyone else having fled from the farm. Lennie is appeared to the perusers as stupid thus Steinback utilizes this to a favorable position; ‘His enormous buddy dropped his covers and flung himself down and drank from the outside of the green pool; drank with long swallows, grunting into the water like a horse†¦ Lennie plunged his entire head under, cap and all, and afterward he sat up on the bank and his cap trickled down on his blue coat and ran down his back†¦ Lennie fiddled his huge paw in the water and squirmed his fingers so the water emerged in little sprinkles; rings augmented over the pool to the opposite side and returned once more, Lennie watched them go. ‘Look George. Look what I done.’ Stein back makes reference to the drinking of the pool water later in Chapter Six. The second likeness that I saw was of the fantasy that Lennie and George shared. Much the same as a little kid, Lennie likes the possibility of their fantasy and requests it to be rehashed on various events. The most noteworthy occasions are referenced in the book; toward the starting where the two of them feel that they can accomplish the fantasy and toward the end, not long before George shoots Lennie. Lennie has this ‘problem’ where once he clutches to something he can’t let go. In Chapter One George and Lennie are fleeing from a farm in Weed, due to Lennie clutching a girl’s red silk dress, as he felt the silk, the young lady believed that she would have been explicitly attacked thus terrified. She ran off to tell the other farm laborers giving George and Lennie time to run off. In the Last Chapter Lennie runs from the Soledad farm to the brush region since he slaughtered Curley’s spouse. Enduring Lennie’s awful conduct, George feels pressurized thus says that he could live significantly better without Lennie; ‘Why, I could remain in a feline house throughout the night. I could eat wherever I need, lodging or wherever, and request any damn thing I could think of.’ This is totally referenced in Chapter One and in the last section George’s emotions are spoken to by Lennie’s visualization as Aunt Clara; ‘ And then from out of Lennie’s head there came a little fat elderly person. She wore thick bull’s-eye glasses and she wore an immense gingham cover with pockets, and she was treated and clean. She remained before Lennie and put her hands on her hips, and glared disapprovingly at him. What's more, when she talked, it was in Lennie’s voice. ‘ I tol’ you an’ tol’ you,’ ‘ I tol’ you â€Å"Min’ George on the grounds that he’s such a decent fella an’ great to you† But you don’t never take no consideration. You do terrible things. † You never give an idea to George, he’s been doin’ pleasant things for you alla time. At the point when he got a piece a pie you generally got half or more’n half†¦ All the time he coulda had such a decent time on the off chance that it wasn’t for you. He woulda took his compensation an’ caused a commotion in a whorehouse, and he coulda set in a poolroom an’ played snooker. Be that as it may, he got the chance to deal with you.’ Realizing that he has accomplished something terrible this time, Lennie reflects back the whole saying’s that him and George said before going to take a shot at the farm in Soledad. From the Ketchup contention Lennie takes steps to leave George and move up into the mountains, once more in the last part he takes steps to go off into the caverns to ‘Aunt Clara’. Steinbacks utilization of language depicting the water snake and the heron gives the peruser a mysterious message; If your not cautious something terrible may occur, and simply like the watersnake being gotten by the heron, the watersnake speaks to Lennie and the heron speaks to George.

The Impact Of Organizational Culture On Enron s...

The tale of Enron presents a unique perspective on success. In the short span of 24 months, Enron transformed from being the top firm in its industry to one that filed for bankruptcy. The reflection about how the tides changed in such a short period uncovers many surprising truths. In its glory days Enron beamed billion dollar profits each quarter, however this success was all a part of an elaborate scheme. Behind the veil of smoke and mirrors was a series of deceptive and unethical accounting practices. For Jeff Skilling and Kenneth Lay it was always about outward perception and to them this revolved around the stock price. If the stock price kept rising, as far as they were concerned Enron was doing just fine. The case of Enron is the†¦show more content†¦The company did not consider whether the candidate would be a proper fit in the part of the company or work well in a team. They were solely hired based on potential profits they could earn for the company. Thus, highligh ting the low people and team orientation culture of Enron. Although Enron rated poorly on people and team orientation, they rated very highly on risk taking, aggressiveness and outcome orientation. The most salient aspect of Enron’s organizational culture is their risk-taking proclivity. Enron throughout the span of 24 months transformed from being the â€Å"Forbes most innovative company† to a company that was forced to file for bankruptcy and lay off almost 20,000 employees in part due to the risks they took. The corporation encouraged its employees to take risks at all costs as long it either improved the balance sheet or could be treated as a profit. The Darwinian culture at Enron cultivate a fiercely competitive environment. Employees saw one another as competition that they must beat to earn promotion and lucrative bonus. Due to this the traders at the company took numerous ill-advised risks and eventually gambled the company’s reserves away. The company’s emphasis on outcomes regardless of the steps taken p resented a unique conundrum.
